Pastor Bianca J. Richardson is a woman of faith and prayer committed to proclaiming the unadulterated Word of God through a womanist perspective while serving both the church and community with care and compassion. She began preaching at 15 and was licensed as a Minister in August 1999.
Pastor Bianca earned a B.S. in Architectural Drafting & Design in 2003 and an M.S. in Construction Management in 2005 from North Carolina A&T State University. In November 2009, she was elevated and Ordained.
Pastor Bianca earned an M.A. in Christian Education (2011) and is pursuing an MDiv at Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC.
Pastor Bianca has served in Pastoral Leadership for over seven years: Assistant Pastor, Interim Senior Pastor, and the former Senior Pastor of Saint James Baptist Church, where she was the ninth and first female Senior Pastor.
Recently, Pastor Bianca has acted on the call of missional church planting and established a weekly ecumenical online bible study (The Pillar) and The Pillar Community Church, Inc.
Pastor Bianca is a social justice advocate and advisory board member of The Faith Leaders of Color Coalition (FLOCC), in which Faith, Vision, and Policy are united to eliminate the death penalty.
As a consultant, Bianca is the Founder and Senior Project Manager of Caliber Consulting, which specializes in freelance project management, program management, project scheduling, and corporate and non-profit leadership training. Professionally, she has worked for 18 years as a Project Manager in Construction Management. Her current industry of focus is Healthcare Information Technology. Her specialty sectors are pharmaceutical, industrial, government, and information technology, and she has also consulted for Fortune 500 featured corporations.
